Pasta de Queso Crema

Crustless triangle finger sandwiches filled with herbed cream cheese spread on a wooden board with fresh parsley

Pasta de queso crema is a little taste of Old Havana — the creamy spread Cuban families love to put on crackers and mini sandwiches, crown with an olive, and put out for any occasion. Make a bowl, set it on the table, and watch it disappear.

Ingredients

  • One cream cheese package at room temperature (8 oz.)

  • ½ cup of finely chopped Conchita Drained Pimientos

  • ½ cup of finely chopped Conchita Pimiento-Stuffed Green Olives

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: 3 tablespoons of finely chopped onion.

How to make it

Mix all the ingredients together in a food processor. Cover and refrigerate until ready to spread. When ready to spread, bring to room temperature and thin with a little milk if necessary. Enjoy with Pan de Miga, Arepas, Crackers, Pan Pita and more!
