Accessibility Statement

Conchita Foods wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. Whether you are browsing our pantry, looking for a recipe or getting in touch with us, you should be able to do it easily.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.

What we have done

  • Added text descriptions (alt text) to product photos, recipe photos and other meaningful images.

  • Made every page usable with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.

  • Labeled form fields and product options so screen readers announce them correctly.

  • Organized page headings so assistive technology can move through each page in order.

  • Checked text and background colors for readable contrast.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the site regularly and fix problems as we find them. Some pages we link to, such as Amazon and Instacart, are run by other companies and are outside our control.
